Recruit a Teammate. Get Paid.
Know a player who belongs on the court? Refer a new family to SoCal Basketball Club and earn $50 cash — handed to you at the admissions desk. There is no limit. Recruit 5 players? Walk away with $250.
How the Referral Program Works
Step 1 — Draft a Player Tell a friend, neighbor, coworker, or fellow parent about SoCal Basketball Club. Send them to socalbasketballclub.com to register their child.
Step 2 — They Name-Drop You During registration, the new family must enter your child's name in the "Referred By" field. This must be done at the exact time of registration. We cannot accept retroactive referral claims after a player has already registered.
Step 3 — Collect Your Cash After the referred player successfully completes their 4th Saturday tournament, pick up your $50 bill at the admissions desk. That's it.

Official Referral Program Rules
Effective February 2026. Last updated February 2026.
1. Eligibility to Refer The referring family must be currently registered and actively enrolled with SoCal Basketball Club. The referring family must remain in good standing (no bond forfeitures, no outstanding balances, no account disputes) at the time the referral payout becomes eligible. If the referring family is no longer actively enrolled at the time of payout eligibility, the referral reward is forfeited.
2. Eligible Referrals The referred player must be 100% new to SoCal Basketball Club. This means:
The referred player cannot already exist in our registration database.
The referred player cannot be a returning or previously registered participant.
The referred player cannot have previously registered through our marketing advertisements or promotions.
The referred player cannot be an immediate family member (sibling, step-sibling, half-sibling) of the referring player.
The referred player must reside at a different physical address than the referring family. Members of the same household are not eligible as referrals, regardless of family relationship.
3. Registration Requirement The referring family's child name must be entered in the "Referred By" field at the exact time of the new player's registration. No retroactive referral claims will be accepted under any circumstances. If the "Referred By" field is left blank or contains an unverifiable name at the time of registration, no referral credit will be issued.
4. Completion Requirement The referred player must:
Successfully complete registration and clear all initial fees (uniform fee and Performance Bond).
Actively participate in four (4) complete Saturday tournaments.
Maintain an account in good standing during their first four weeks with no bond forfeiture, no outstanding balance, and no disputed charges or chargebacks.
The referral payout is not earned until all four conditions above are satisfied.
5. Payout
Referral payouts are $50.00 cash per qualifying referral.
Payouts are distributed exclusively at the admissions desk on Saturday game days.
The referring family (or their designated representative) must be present at the admissions desk to collect the payout.
There is no limit to the number of referral payouts a family can earn, provided each referral independently meets all eligibility and completion requirements.
Limit one referrer per new family. If multiple existing families claim credit for the same new registration, only the name entered in the "Referred By" field at the time of registration will be honored.
6. Disqualification A referral payout will not be issued if:
The referred player drops out, is removed from the program, or forfeits their Performance Bond before completing four Saturday tournaments.
The referred player's account has a disputed charge, chargeback, or outstanding balance.
The referring family is no longer actively enrolled or has an account not in good standing at the time the payout becomes eligible.
The referral is determined to be fraudulent, manipulated, or in violation of these rules.
7. Program Modifications SoCal Basketball Club reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Referral Program at any time, with or without notice. Changes to program rules apply to all future referrals but will not affect referral payouts already earned and pending collection. Current program terms are always available at socalbasketballclub.com/refer.
